The app reads user's files only when this feature is requested using the "Select files" button. The app has only access to the files inside the directory chosen in the file selection dialog. The files are never used outside of the app - they are not sent nor saved anywhere.
The app downloads the map tiles from a web server. During this communication, the requests sent are constant for all users - there is no identifying nor personal information sent.
The app can download activity data from Strava. Here, it acts as a browser and stores user's cookies (for the Strava web page), web cache and the downloaded activities data in the application private data directory.
